Apparently, IMVU wants to help control scammers and shammers who claim to give out free credits and whatnot, yet, at the same time, there may be a hidden agenda to thwart developer's independent credit income. How this limit can affect us all in negative ways is not necessary to describe.
Last week, many suffered the effects of IMVU's new 5k credit transfer limit, and there is an ongoing protest.

I'm not exactly a Lady Gaga fan or follower, but we all have to admit she's a generational landmark of sorts.
The video for "Born This Way" premiered online yesterday and I stumbled upon it. Since the Cult is a place for anything and everything, I thought we might have some fun watching it.
For the first few seconds I thought "WOAH! A glittering unicorn and Gaga in SPACE, this is surely going to be totally awesome." And my impression was sustained during the entire introduction, a Dune-esque sci-fi narration accompanied by images alien Gaga giving birth, with her space priestesses and the whole shebang. Until three minutes later, when she struts out in black underwear doing a dance routine that is very much like every other of her choreography routines, but I guess... just as entertaining. Something about her shoes is distracting, though... are they shoes at all? Or straps on her bare feet? But the song...
The song, though a pretty cool concept as a "manifesto" or anthem for any degree of queerness, lacks the (somewhat) "original" sound that some of her previous singles projected. "WHAT original sound, Narco?" you might ask... what I mean to say is that there is a certain something that sets Gaga's singles apart from the white noise that is mainstream dance music. But this one kind of passes as white noise. The music, after such an awesome intro, is not engaging at all.
Also, it reminds me, as much as I try to block it out, of Madonna's "Express Yourself" - which, if you really want to, you can interpret it in a similar way - and a little dash of Vogue.
Not that Gaga never ever does that... (Take "Alejandro" and Ace of Base's "All That She Wants" / Madonna's "La Isla Bonita"... of course you might say it's not so - but you'd be kidding yourself if you said and believed they weren't similar. Come on.)
Disclaimer: please forgive me if I'm offending any "little monsters" or whatever Gaga fans are called by my lack of background and information.
Alas:
And for you young ones who might not remember or weren't even born yet, let's go back in time a little bit, shall we?
Every year the community is split in two! Those who love Valentines, and those who loath it. Many spend the weeks leading up to Feb 14 creating amorous offerings made of pink roses, hearts, and baby angels! Then you have the "Other Half." Those that hate valentine's day for all it's mushy commercially-ness, or maybe they've been burned by a loved one and feel inspired to create from that pain (a la Taylor Swift), and some who just love to deviate from the norm, because hey, that's just good clean fun! That is why this installment of "outfit of the month" is going to be a little different.
February's Outfit(s) of the Month celebrates both halves of my heart [insert "Awww," or "Ewww" here] with something a little like Dual Personality Disorder!
I have to admit, finding a valentine outfit was pretty easy, but choosing one was rather difficult! Xylopia's Valentina set was perfect! It has the traditional Valentine Colors of pink and ... more pink, but hints of blue set this corsetted piece off quite nicely. The burlesque feel was a big bonus. I feel that I can use this set to fit other themes not limited to once a year! I love that the train/tail is attached to the corset - less pieces for me to find and struggle with! Also available (and totally wishlisted ~.^) is a gorgeous pink feather Boa, and a small tophat set racously askew. A truely gorgeous set. Even though valentine's Day has passed, you should still check it out! Especially if you share my love of pink!
The Skin I chose is Hindee Skin 010 by N3cr0phelia. It's glitterlicious! Glitter everywhere! The cute pink Shades kind of hide the awesome makeup, but its mask-like, orange and pink and (get this) MORE GLITTER! My legs felt naked until I tried this skin; the built in Fishnets faded perfectly from pink to orange (Developer Hindee's Signature blend) tying in perfectly with the Valentina, and balancing out my new hair - Sunset Raya by the fabulously talented LadyKikiGaki!
On to Accessories! I had plenty of pink jewelry, but I can always use an excuse to shop for more! Shown here is most of the Pink Diamond set by Laele75 - a staple when it comes to playing with pinks. Also pictured are Ohmotherofpearl's Pink Sugar Shades (perfect for V-day and any other time you just want to look awesome). My Eyes, though partially hidden, are by none other than Kawaii Queen Pop. Her Valenshine eyes (mine in pink) are gorgeously detailed with hearts delicately reflected in the irises. Cake Ring in Chocopink is by MolotovCupcake, Music Earrings PNK by Ritsy, and one of my new favorites, Pretty Pink Cameo by Tigermelon!
